Our vision for giving back began during a family dental outreach trip to Kibaale, Uganda. While teaching children about oral hygiene, we met many who had never owned a toothbrush or received basic dental education. Their eagerness to learn inspired us to find a way to support their oral health long after we returned home.

During that visit, our family helped distribute more than 550 dental hygiene kits and provided oral health education in local schools. Through our partnership with Kuwasha and our Olive Root Foundation, we hope to build on that work, with the long-term goal of helping establish a community dental clinic.

At AltaVia Dental, that commitment will continue through our One Box Given. One Box Donated. initiative. Every new patient will receive a thoughtfully curated welcome box. For each box given, Olive Root Foundation will donate a dental hygiene kit to a child in Kibaale.
